For 1-2 people. Suitable for beginners.
What is cold process soap? This is soap made from scratch from natural ingredients without any additional heating (other than what is needed to melt the solid oils). It is not "Melt & Pour" soap that is mass produced in a factory.
In this 3 hour basic soap making course, you will learn to make soap using a recipe containing multiple base oils. You can then choose from 10 different essential oils and 10 other natural additives to customise your soap's scent and colour. The method that you will learn will allow you to try out more adventurous recipes by yourself.
At the end of the session, you will leave with over 1 kilo of soap that you have made yourself, and course notes to help you continue your journey in soap making.
Courses are held in a private home in Hendon, London, NW4. Nearest tube stations are Hendon Central (15 min walk) or Finchley Central (7 mins bus ride).
Please note: For safety reasons, all students are required to wear long sleeves, long trousers, and closed shoes. We reserve the right to turn away students who are not appropriately dressed.
As we are a small company, course dates are very limited. Generally we only have availability on Thursday and Friday afternoons, and on Sunday all day. If you want a specific date, please contact me before purchase to confirm availiability. If you don't book a date before purchase, you will be issued with a voucher code, which together with your email address, can be used to book the course at a later date.

I really enjoyed learning how to make soap! Thank you! The process was explained very well from start to finish. It was simpler than I imagined but I wouldn't have been able to do it without the help of a professional to guide me through each step and highlight the important safety points. During the process, she explained how I might be able to adjust things depending on the properties I was after and that was very interesting. It's also great making them look pretty! I definitely would recommend this course. The course gave me enough confidence to go and make my own soap too! Very exciting! Thanks again!
